EXPECTATIONS
Lead projects and all necessary client engagement tasks
Perform onsite, data gathering, surveys of current organizational staffing costs and operational efficiencies; prepare improvement recommendation reports
Support and assist our clients with vendor negotiations to adjust and amend scope of service, procurement, and budgets to complete project requirements
Guide clients in the development of operations guidelines and procedure documents, required training, implementation plan and effectiveness testing/measurements
Assure the quality of project deliverables, including operational standards, client QA/QC procedures, and close-out.
Partner with MCP business development team to develop ongoing programs and proposal statements of work for additional services
BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
5+ years of successful experience in the assessment, consultation, and implementation of technologies and communications systems for public safety and/or mission critical operations
Exemplary communications, both oral and written for proposals, presentations, and technical reports focused on public safety communications and technology; specifically, regulatory, policy, white papers, and client education
Subject matter expert in public safety communications including 911, emergency management, CHE, CAD, land mobile radio (LMR) and related industry standards and best practices
Practical competence with planning requirements and documentation required for project management, policies, and procedures
Skilled in the operational assessment, specification, design, implementation and training of systems in support of PSAPs and EOCs
Proven knowledge of federal, state and local agency activities related to 9-1-1
Valid driver's lincense
PREFREERD KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety, Emergency Management, or related field
Extensive expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools
In-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, processes and documentation requirements for Public Safety operations and administration
