Project Manager - Business Process Optimization

OVERVIEW
Mission Critical Partners has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager – Business Process Optimization (BPO). We are looking for a team-oriented leader who can develop and execute project plans including scheduling, communications, risk management, issue resolution, procurement, scope, change management, and quality assurance. Ability to work alongside cross-functional teams to manage multiple concurrent BPO for several areas is a must. POSITION LOCATION
Montgomery, AL – Position can be remote with regular onsite meeting requirements

EXPECTATIONS/DELIVERABLES

Business Process Review
  • Document how major business workflows are handled with the OMS, manually and with other tools.
  • Capture information on changes needed to existing workflows to meet the goals of an offender-centric model and other goals.
  • Define roles and the dashboard requirements for each role.
  • Document where business rules exist for populating the business rules engine. 
  • Capture where and when interfaces with internal and external systems occur.

Traceability Matrix Requirements
  • Develop the Requirements Traceability Matrix.  A list of Functional Requirements supplied by the client will be used to create a matrix.  The requirements will be confirmed and finalized.  The matrix will be used in the Solutions Modeling phase to prepare for the build phase. 

Gap analysis, including a reporting needs assessment
  • Complete the gap analysis, including a reporting needs assessment. Often, reports are grouped together and treated as a function.  However, reports occur for a functional area, and it is advantageous to address them with the functional area.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field 
  • 5 years’ experience as a project manager
  • Subject matter expert in the management of department of corrections’ inmates and/or probation and parole
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
  • Strong written and verbal skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Business analysis skills and experience working on a government project team
  • Implementation of offender management systems experience
  • Understanding of the Common Business Functions for Correctional Management Systems (CTA/IJIS Institute 2015)
  • Understanding of the American Probation and Parole Functional Standards for Automated Case Management (2003)
