OVERVIEW Mission Critical Partners has an exciting opportunity for an experienced ETL Engineer- Digital Data Migration to work with our client and migrate law enforcement agency (LEA) data to our client's software product. Due to the nature of information access, the successful candidate will be required to pass a CJIS background check.The role requires a professional committed to success by embracing and living our core values of Persistence, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Prudence.
POSITION LOCATION Remote USA – Occasional travel to client site will be required
EXPECTATIONS
Migrate law enforcement agency (LEA) data to our client's software product.
Legacy data includes digital, MP3, pdf, and other types of non-relational data. It may also include relational data
Identify sources of LEA data and for each source identify the data format/type and amount of data to migrate
Identify whether APIs exist
Map each data element to database/structures
Identify where code may be needed to extract and transform data for ingestion in client's platform (ETL)
Other responsibilities as assigned
BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in related field with emphasis on software development & database design
3+ years of data conversion/data migration/ETL experience
At least 1 year of experience with GraphQL
Have experience with digital data files
Demonstrated critical thinking ability
