The Human Resources (HR) Director is a member of our Executive Leadership Team that will have a direct and positive impact on our Company’s mission and talent strategy. The HR Director provides leadership and oversight to the Company’s HR functions including but not limited to, planning and strategy, compliance, talent acquisition, new hire onboarding and orientation, benefits administration, training and education, performance management, and staff engagement.The role requires a professional committed to success by embracing and living our core values of Persistence, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Prudence.
POSITION LOCATION State College, PA (Preferred) / Remote Location Considered
Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
Innovates, plans, leads, coordinates, and implements efforts and initiatives to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs, and to positively engage the workforce
Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; staff engagement; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and performance management; recognition and reward; occupational health and safety; and education, training, and development
Identifies, in collaboration with others, staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent acquisition
Conducts research and analysis of organizational and industry trends, and provides related advice and counsel to the organization’s leadership team
Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
Maintains and applies knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Participates in Company planning and budgeting
Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff
Performs other duties as required
BASIC REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (potentially including boosters) is an essential requirement of this role. MCP will adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance where required, subject to approved medical or religious exemptions
Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization’s ADP Workforce Now HRIS and CATS talent acquisition systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; and virtual meeting platforms
Valid Driver’s License with the ability to travel as required
