Practice Team Leader - Public Safety Operations and Facilities Integration

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Mission Critical Partners is seeking an individual to lead the execution, growth and support of the Operations and Facilities Practice Team.  Collaborating with senior leadership, team staff members, and our business partners, the Practice Team Leader models MCP’s mission, vision, and core values of Persistence, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Prudence.
 
Summary
The Practice Team Leader sets strategy, achievable goals, and provides solutions that delight our clients.  This person will manage projects, ensure quality and best practices, and develop the business and other activities that contribute to the overall success of our firm. 

Expectations
  • Together with senior leadership, develop practice team goals and metrics in alignment with corporate objectives. Lead practice team to meet operational and financial goals
  • Establish, develop, and direct execution of business strategies to support corporate policies and objectives for labor backlog projections and staffing forecasts
  • Support the development and execution of practice team growth strategies. Set metrics for team sales to support corporate goals
  • Create plans to leverage relationships throughout our industry to develop leads and opportunities for new business initiatives. Develop, lead, and participate in the coordination and preparation of presentations and proposals
  • Conduct candidate interviews at all levels. Select qualified talent and recommend compensation. Work with new staff members to create individual development plans and evaluate performance
 
Basic Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Sciences and Technology, or a related field
  • 10 years’ relevant experience within Public Safety Operations leadership.  Background in leading teams for a consulting or professional services environment
  • Direct and matrix supervisory experience, and strategic thinking and problem solving capabilities are required
  • Extensive expertise in the use of project management and SDLC methodologies and tools is a must
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to drive your own vehicle to client sites and MCP regional office locations
