Help Desk Administrator

Location: State College, PA
We have a new opportunity for a Help Desk Administrator to be a part of the Support Team at our State College corporate headquarters.  The individual will be expected to provide technical systems support to our growing staff.  The role requires a client-focused professional committed to success by embracing and living our core values of Persistence, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Prudence.
Expectations
  • Responsible for handling systems support activities.  Provide excellent client experiences and work to resolve support issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Use ConnectWise ticket tracking to document problems and their solutions, and analyze that data to improve performance
  • Install and configure a variety of hardware devices
  • Deploy laptops, IP phones and iPhones to new staff members 
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, system and network repairs
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all equipment
  • Assist staff via remote access
  • Constantly position self to install and maintain computers and equipment, including under work stations and server locations. Frequently moves computers and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
 
Basic Requirements, Knowledge and Skills
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the support of enterprise IT and telecommunication systems
  • Technically savvy with an understanding of Windows Server 2012R2, Exchange 2016, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365; with an emphasis on client relationship and support
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems such as such as ConnectWise, LabTech, and Zendesk
  • Ability to work with and support an outside network systems vendor(s)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and position self to install and maintain equipment
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to travel to our client sites and regional offices as required
